Kelli Paulson is a horsemanship clinician, educator, and creator of the Trail Obstacle Project — a complete training system that uses trail obstacles to build a solid foundation and develop confident, capable, life-ready horses. Her specialty is helping riders of all levels who want more confidence and clarity strengthen their foundation through obstacle-based training. She teaches riders to direct the horse’s feet and connect the reins to the feet, because when you reach the feet, you reach the mind — and that’s where true partnership begins, so you can truly dance with your horse.
Kelli founded the Trail Rider Challenge in 2005 and later launched the Virtual Trail Rider Challenge, giving riders practical ways to measure progress and apply their skills.
She is the author of How to Build Simple Trail Obstacles and the Working Equitation Handbook, and teaches clinics and workshops throughout the Midwest.
Build your confidence and finally gain the clarity you’ve been seeking. Attend one of Kelli’s clinic sessions at the Iowa Horse Fair to experience her approach in person.
